The purpose of this website is to increase your understanding of the work that we are undertaking and to improve the delivery of care for patients who have Cardiovascular disease.

The Cardiac and Stroke Network is focused upon facilitating the delivery of integrated care across Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Service organisations, and social care.

We aim to produce stimulating discussion and innovative thinking between clinicians, managerial staff and patients to ensure that services are delivered with the patient at the centre of planning.

Promotion of cost-effective improvements in clinical outcomes, assisting with the spread of good clinical and managerial practice in relation to the delivery of care for patients with Cardiovascular disease.

The Cardiac and Stroke Network has a Training Fund available to NHS staff within the Lancashire and Cumbria area wishing to attend courses or conferences with a cardiovascular focus.
